Meet Faith - The Full Human Being

Allowing ourselves to be messy, even if we don't know what that means or how it manifests, is the heart of Faith’s outlook on bringing the whole self to the workplace. She muses, “When we walk through office doors, we don’t magically become worker ants whose only purpose is to complete tasks. Regardless of which side of the doors (or screen) we are on, we are always fully human. Pretending otherwise is unhealthy - for people and for the organization. When we create organizations and communities where the full human being can be present and purpose-driven, then we are ensuring both resilience and effectiveness.”

Faith leans into the messiness that comes with bringing our whole selves to work so that we may reap the benefits of increased autonomy, creativity, peace, and truth-telling. Faith is on a mission to normalize conversations about love and purpose within workplaces so that we all may show up with a strengthened capacity for acceptance of ourselves and others.

Faith’s Story

Faith grew up in the Yakima Valley of Washington State and graduated from Evergreen College, quickly making her way into the hospitality industry. She traveled all over the world visiting 28 countries and living in two, India and Ireland. Faith then moved back to the States to pursue Winery Management. After many lovely afternoons with Merlot, it struck her that she wanted to make a different impact on the world. She bravely re-entered the academic setting and graduated with two Master’s degrees, one in Public Administration and the other in Positive Organizational Development and Change Management. Now, as an independent consultant she focuses on strengths-based coaching. She happily resides in Portland with her dog, Serafina, where she feels more at home than ever.

The Art of Asking Questions to Reveal New Insights

Faith’s superpowers are creativity, adaptability, and seeing how two unrelated ideas may actually be connected. She uses these incredible talents with her clients to ask the meaningful questions that get to the heart of the matter and to encourage people to see new ways to thinking through old problems.

When faced with the question of whether something is in or out of a proverbial box, Faith’s response is: “What box?” She sees solutions as opportunities to flex creative muscles, rather than adapt and adjust old ways of thinking. Her passion is possibility seeking and she enables her clients to capitalize on the possibilities they didn’t know were there, but Faith helped them uncover.

Let Faith help you and your team bring ideas to life that you never imagined possible. Connect with her to learn more.

Everything Else You Wish You Knew About Faith

Faith easily chooses favorites of some things, but others not so much. Her favorite drink is an easy answer, Single Varietal Mourvedre. Her favorite food is another easy one, Masala Dosa a northern Indian food made with curried potatoes wrapped in a thin sourdough pancake topped with fresh coconut Chutney. However, her favorite place is impossible to identify with such love for dozens of countries, towns, and villages around the globe. And when asked for the most beautiful things she’s seen, she spews an amazing array of answers unable to choose a favorite including the moment her dog, Seraphina, walked up to her for the first time, sunsets over the Indian Ocean, Van Morrison, dancing on Christmas Day in the mountains, faces of lifelong friends, and more.

Faith is able to see to the root of an issue, and find people-centered solutions that address the system and its design."
